LCD vs Touchscreen — which repair do I need?
The Nintendo Switch Lite screen has separate layers. The LCD is the inner display that shows the image, while the touchscreen/digitiser is the outer glass layer that detects touch input.
If the image is faulty, missing, distorted, bleeding or has lines, you likely need an LCD replacement. If the image looks normal but the outer glass is cracked or the touch function is not working correctly, you may only need a touchscreen replacement.
Optional Touchscreen/Digitiser Add-On
If the outer glass or touch function is also damaged, you can add a touchscreen/digitiser replacement to this repair. This is recommended if the glass is cracked, scratched, lifting, or the touch response is faulty.
Because the Nintendo Switch Lite touchscreen surround is colour-matched to the console, please choose the correct touchscreen colour if adding this option.
